Final Field & Barriers – 2012 Wyong Cup

The final field and barrier draw has been released for the 2012 Wyong Cup, which is due to run at Wyong Racecourse this Friday September 7, 2012.

Included in the 2012 Wyong Cup final field and barrier draw is Kelinni, who has laced in the top two in all four of his race starts this preparation.

Kelinni won his last two starts at Warwick Farm, with the first being in the $85,000 TAB Sportsbet Handicap on August 11.

The second win came in the Australian Turf Club Handicap over 2,200 metres on August 25, 2012

Kelinni has won six of his 14 race starts and has earned more than $200,000 in prize money.

The Irish gelding was brought to Australia by trainer Chris Waller and is now nominated for the 2012 Caulfield Cup.

Kelinni has drawn barrier six for the 2012 Wyong Cup and will carry a weight of 56.5 kilograms in th race.

Gazza Guru is also included in the 2012 Wyong Cup final field and barrier draw.

The eight-year-old has won seven of his 69 race starts and has earned more than $325,000 in prize money during his career.

The Street Cry gelding placed eighth of 10 runners in the Listed Premier’s Cup last start and will be looking to improve on that run in the 2012 Wyong Cup.

Gazza Guru has drawn barrier nine for the 2012 Wyong Cup and will be ridden by jockey Brenton Avdulla in the race.
