Havana Cooler ($3.20) has continued to receive huge support from punters in 2015 Wyong Cup betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au and remains outright favourite for success as a result, ahead of Orbec ($4), The Offer and Beyond Thankful; currently sharing the third line at a quote of $7.50.

Will Havana Cooler justify favouritism and win the 2015 Wyong Cup or will one of his talented rivals find the line in the clear?

The Offer ($7.50)

The Offer returned to racing for an impressive win in the Listed Rowley Mile (1600m) on August 20th, will relish a step up in distance on Friday and offers exceptional value for money in 2015 Wyong Cup betting markets at a current quote of $7.50 for success. Undoubtedly finding career-best form to date through the 2014 Autumn Carnival, the Montjeu gelding ran third in the Listed Randwick City Stakes (2000m) before taking out each of the Group 3 NE Manion Cup (2400m), Group 2 Chairman’s Handicap (2600m) and Group 1 Sydney Cup. While needing some luck from barrier 13, The Offer will be partnered by Blake Shinn and is a great chance of success.

Orbec ($4)

French import Orbec made a strong Australian debut at Rosehill Gardens three weeks ago, and trainer John Thompson is confident the horse carries enough freshness to win the 2015 Wyong Cup; albeit perhaps a little short of his best distance. Posting three wins and as many minors through nine competitive starts, the Le Havre entire jumped from the gates well in the Merrylands RSL Club BM95 (1800m) on August 15th; receiving a good run in transit before mustering a great late turn of foot to finish just off the pace of fellow Wyong Cup entrant Beyond Thankful.

Havana Cooler ($3.20)

Havana Cooler also made his Australian debut in the Merrylands RSL BM95 and is sure to have taken plenty of benefit from his credible sixth place finish. Having started his career under the guidance of notable Britain-based trainer Luca Cumani, the Hurricane Run gelding has been charged with carrying only 54kgs in the 2015 Wyong Cup and will be partnered by in-form hoop Sam Clipperton for the second time.
